Job Title: Mechanical Assistant

Position Summary

• We are looking for dedicated Mechanical Assistants to support the ongoing operation and maintenance of complex mechanical systems in a high-risk chemical and explosive manufacturing environment.
• The role demands strong technical ability, a solid safety mindset, and hands-on experience with industrial equipment, pumps, valves, and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair systems including:
  • Blend Reactors (oxidizing and fuel), Jet Mixer
  • Screw Compressor (60 CFM), Air Dryer, and Lubrication Systems
  • Electric Boiler (1 TPH), RO Water Unit (2000 LPH), Condensate Recovery
  • Hydraulic Drive Motors, Load Cells, Gear Boxes, Danfoss/Casappa Pumps
  • PVE 7 Electro-Hydraulic Valves and Olaer LDC Oil Coolers
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain and service a fleet of industrial vehicles including:
  • SINOTRUK HOWO Cargo 6×6, Forklifts, Jig Cranes, MMUs, and LMVs
• Pump Maintenance: Operate and service various pumps, such as:
  • Magnetic/Centrifugal/Gear/Helical Screw Pumps (Hydraulic-Driven)
• Valve Maintenance: Repair and calibrate diverse valves like:
  • Actuated Ball & Butterfly Valves, Piston Valves, Disc Check Valves, and Steam Traps
• Instrumentation: Maintain critical instruments:
  • Flow Meters (Mass, Magnetic, Gear), Pressure & Temperature Transmitters, pH Monitors
• Safety & Confined Space Maintenance: Execute tasks in confined environments while strictly complying with industry safety protocols and explosive material handling guidelines.

Qualifications
Essential:

• Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Trade certification in mechanical maintenance preferred

Advantageous:

• Certifications in hydraulics, safety (e.g., OSHA, Confined Space Entry)
• Familiarity with PLC-HMI systems

Core Competencies:

• Expertise in mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
• Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals
• Safety-driven with excellent communication and teamwork skills
