Job Title: Human Resources Officer
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate recruitment activities: job posting, screening, and interviews.
- Prepare job offers, employment contracts, and onboarding materials.
- Conduct orientation for new hires and ensure complete documentation.
Employee Records and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both hard and soft copies.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of HR data.
HR Policy Implementation:
- Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
- Communicate policies to staff and ensure compliance.
Employee Relations:
- Address staff queries on HR-related issues.
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
- Promote a positive workplace culture.
Performance Management:
- Assist in setting performance appraisal schedules.
- Track appraisal progress and maintain performance records.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and support implementation of training programs.
- Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Assist with statutory requirements like tax, pension, insurance, etc.
- Prepare periodic HR reports for management.
General Administration:
- Support payroll processing with relevant HR data.
- Monitor attendance, leave, and overtime.
- Assist in organizing staff meetings and events.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years HR experience.
- Good knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software/tools.
