Job Title: Turbo Generator (TG) / Boiler Operator

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced TG/Boiler Operator to join our operations in Kaduna. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boilers and turbine generators (TG) to ensure continuous plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers and turbine generators, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of boiler systems and auxiliaries.
• Monitor and record operating data such as steam pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and perform corrective maintenance or report issues to maintenance teams.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and shift reports.
• Assist in shutdowns, start-ups, and emergency handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the boiler room and related areas.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams for integrated system operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a TG/Boiler Operator, preferably in the mining, heavy industrial, or manufacturing sector.
• Trade Test Certificate or Technical Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of steam boilers, turbines, pumps, and related control systems.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and instrumentation.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to plant emergencies.
