Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Job Summary

• Responsible for ensuring all products meets internal and external requirements as well as exceeds customer expectation within allocated budget.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the QC operations team meets and/or exceeds performance standards and/or goals defined by management     .
• Manage the development and implementation of activities to maximize efficiency of staff and resources to support operational objective ensure safety standards and cleanliness of the laboratory are maintained.
• Determine staff training needs, coordinate, and provide appropriate training, certification, recertification and coaching responsible for undertaking operations necessary for quality testing within quality control.
• Ensure all QC instruments / methods / equipment are adequately validated, maintained, and calibrated.
• Supports and ensures effective, cross-functional teams that accomplish project objectives on a prescribed schedule and with a prescribed budget interpret test results, compare to established specification and control limit effective implementation of food safety management system overseeing processes such as non-conformance material, incoming and outgoing inspection, return material authorization, calibration, QC test to support release, characterization and stability testing of raw materials, production intermediates and final good.           

Requirements

Experience: 

• B.sc/HND Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science/Tech. or other related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
