Job Title: Unit Head – Tax, Insurance and Fixed Assets Management
Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role as Unit Head, Tax, Insurance and Fixed Assets Management at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd in Lagos.
- The role involves tasks related to tax planning, tax compliance, indirect taxation, tax law, and overseeing tax-related matters. While primarily based in Lagos, some remote work is acceptable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 15 years experience
- ACA/ACCA is compulsory
- Professional certification in taxation is a plus.
- Tax Planning, Tax Management and Tax Compliance skills
- Knowledge of Nigerian Taxation Laws, especially as applicable to Financial Services firms
- Experience in handling various tax matters, engaging tax authorities and driving regulatory audits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
