Job Title: Sales Representative

Summary

• The Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• The role involves understanding customer needs, promoting company products or services, and achieving sales targets within a defined territory or market segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
• Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
• Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
• Provide reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products/services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the market.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing events as required.
• Handle customer complaints and queries effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2 – 5 years proven experience as a sales representative or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
