Responsibilities

• Taking Orders: Accurately taking food and drink orders, and communicating them effectively to the kitchen.
• Serving Food and Beverages: Delivering orders to tables, ensuring correct items are served, and attending to guest needs.
• Handling Payments: Processing payments accurately and efficiently, whether cash or card.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the dining area is clean, tables are properly set, and clearing tables after guests leave.
• Customer Satisfaction: Addressing guest concerns, resolving issues, and providing excellent service to encourage repeat business.
• Collaboration: Working with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service.
• Memorizing the Menu: Understanding menu items, ingredients, and being able to make recommendations.
• Upselling: Suggesting additional items like appetizers, desserts, or drinks to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Greeting and Seating Guests: Providing a warm welcome, seating guests at appropriate tables, and presenting menus.
