Responsibilities

• Sorting and Pre-treating Laundry: Laundry Attendants sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and washing instructions, and pre-treat stains using appropriate chemicals.
• Operating Laundry Equipment: They operate washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, and other laundry equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
• Folding and Finishing Laundry: Laundry Attendants fold clean linens, towels, and other items, and may also iron or press items as needed.
• Maintaining Laundry Areas: They keep laundry areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, and maintain laundry equipment.
• Inventory and Supply Management: They may track inventory levels of laundry supplies and order replacements as needed.
• Assisting with Guest Laundry: In some hotels, Laundry Attendants may assist with guest laundry services, collecting items from rooms, washing, drying, and folding them, and returning them to guests.
• Ensuring Cleanliness and Hygiene: They play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel’s cleanliness standards by ensuring all linens and textiles are clean, fresh, and well-maintained.
• Maintaining Safety: They follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling chemicals and operating equipment.
