Job Title: HR / Admin Manager
Job Summary
- We are looking for a competent and experienced HR/Admin Manager to oversee and manage all human resources and administrative functions for our hospitality operations in GRA, Port Harcourt.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic HR planning, recruitment, staff welfare, compliance, and general administrative efficiency, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation
- Manage employee records, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Drive performance management, employee engagement, and career development initiatives
- Handle staff grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution
- Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Organize training sessions and capacity-building workshops
Administration:
- Supervise the administrative team and ensure effective office management
- Coordinate procurement and facility maintenance, ensuring a safe and functional work environment
- Monitor administrative budgets and cost controls
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems
- Oversee logistics, asset management, and record-keeping
- Support departmental heads with administrative and HR-related needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (CIPM or relevant certification is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 4 – 5 years of experience in a similar HR/Admin role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in HR software, MS Office Suite, and employee management tools
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
