  • Ensure that gender mainstreaming efforts account for the intersection of other identities, such as age, disability, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status, to address multiple and overlapping vulnerabilities.
  • Provide training and technical support to internal teams on the intersectionality approach and how it enhances gender equity and safeguarding across CcHUB’s operations.

Gender Audits and Action Plans:

  • Lead the planning and execution of gender audits across CcHUB’s programs and operations to assess the level of gender sensitivity and inclusivity in existing policies and practices.
  • Develop and implement action plans based on gender audit findings to improve gender equity across programs, operations, and internal processes.

  • Develop and disseminate case studies, articles, and other knowledge products that showcase CcHUB’s gender mainstreaming efforts and impact.
  • Represent CcHUB in external forums, conferences, and networks focused on gender equity, innovation, and technology, sharing lessons learned and promoting best practices in gender mainstreaming.
  • Advocate for gender-sensitive policies and practices within the broader tech and innovation ecosystem, contributing to regional and global gender equity dialogues.

Partnerships and Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, civil society organizations, and private sector partners, to promote gender equity and safeguarding in all partnerships.
  • Work closely with local and international partners to co-create gender-sensitive initiatives and ensure that CcHUB’s gender mainstreaming approach is consistent with partner expectations and global best practices.
  • Support joint advocacy efforts and partnerships aimed at promoting gender-responsive innovation and tech solutions across Africa.
