Job Title: Ophthalmologist
Job Summary
- We are looking for a skilled ophthalmologist proficient in the use of state-of-the-art ophthalmic equipment in the diagnosis and management of ophthalmic disease who will be responsible for running ophthalmology clinics and surgery.
Responsibilities
It include:
- Managing daily ophthalmology clinics and surgeries
- Coordinating outreach and training activities
- Supervising and mentoring Resident Doctors
- Performing cataract, glaucoma surgery, and other ophthalmic surgeries.
Requirements
- Fellowship with West African College of Surgeons (WACS) or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria NPMCN, or an equivalent international qualification such as the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS)
- A valid license to practice ophthalmology in Nigeria
- Minimum of 2 years post-residency experience.
