Job Title: Manager – EasyRent

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to oversee the daily operations of our EasyRent division in Surulere, Lagos.
• The Manager – EasyRent will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth execution of rental services.
• This role is crucial in expanding our market presence and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Oversight:

• Oversee daily operations of the Easy Rent platform.
• Ensure all property listings, user accounts, and agent profiles are verified and updated.
• Monitor and resolve tenant-landlord issues with speed and fairness.

User & Agent Relationship Management:

• Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and agents.
• Create onboarding guides and walkthroughs for each group.
• Manage customer support and complaints resolution processes.

Growth & Marketing Collaboration:

• Work with the marketing team to drive platform adoption.
• Develop community partnerships with real estate agents and firms.

Tech/Product Liaison:

• Work closely with the tech team to suggest and test new features.
• Monitor bugs, user feedback, and UX issues, ensuring continuous improvement.

Reporting & Metrics:

• Track platform performance: user growth, active listings, rent processed, resolution rates.
• Provide weekly reports and strategic recommendations to the CEO/Walls and Gates leadership.

Revenue & Partnerships:

• Drive monetization strategies (agent commissions, premium listings, etc.)
• Explore collaborations with fintech, legal, and housing service providers.

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• 3 – 5 years in operations, real estate, or platform management
• Strong understanding of property or digital marketplace environments
• Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of platforms, CRMs, or admin dashboards
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills
• Problem-solver, proactive thinker, highly organized
• Bonus: Experience in real estate tech, Lagos housing market, or startup growth

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
The following qualifications would be advantageous:

• MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree.
• Experience in the outdoor advertising industry.
• Familiarity with the Surulere market.

Requirements:

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve EasyRent’s revenue and growth targets.
• Manage and mentor a team of sales and operations staff.
• Oversee client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the EasyRent division.
