Job Title: Internal Auditor
Summary
- At Toasties, the Internal Auditor helps us run a tighter, smarter operation by reviewing our internal processes, identifying risks, and recommending practical improvements across all units, from finance to inventory to outlet operations.
- You’ll play a key role in ensuring our systems are sound, our resources are protected, and we stay compliant, efficient, and sustainable.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct regular audits across all Toasties outlets and departments (e.g., finance, procurement, inventory, POS usage).
- Assess and test internal controls, operational procedures, and compliance with company policies.
- Investigate variances, stock discrepancies, revenue leakages, or irregular transactions.
- Review financial and operational records, including cash handling, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and expense claims.
- Identify control gaps and process inefficiencies, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Monitor implementation of corrective actions and follow up on previous audit issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal guidelines (e.g., tax, safety, data protection).
- Prepare concise audit reports and discuss findings with relevant teams and management.
- Support the Finance Team with risk assessments, fraud prevention efforts, and policy reviews.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / BSc Degree with 2 years work experience.
Salary
N300,000 monthly.
