Job Title: Housekeeper

Position Summary

• We are seeking a professional, highly experienced, and trustworthy Housekeeper to work in a private residence.
• The ideal candidate will be meticulous, organized, and proactive, with a strong background in domestic housekeeping. Discretion, reliability, and a genuine passion for maintaining a clean and well-run home are essential

Key Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Daily cleaning of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and hallways to a high standard.
• Laundry & Ironing: Washing, drying, folding, and ironing of clothes, bed linen, and towels. Attention to garment care (delicate and luxury fabrics).
• Organization: Keeping wardrobes, drawers, cupboards, pantries, and storage areas tidy and well-organized.
• Surface Care: Polishing surfaces, handling antiques or specialty items with care (e.g., wood, marble, silver, etc.).
• Deep Cleaning: Periodic deep cleaning of windows, blinds, under furniture, and upholstery.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring cleaning supplies and household stock; informing the employer when restocking is needed.
• Household Errands: Grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, or other occasional errands as needed
• Guest Preparation: Preparing guest rooms and bathrooms
• Teamwork: Ability to work harmoniously alongside other household staff (e.g., nanny, chef, driver, etc.).

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a housekeeper in a private household or similar setting.
• Skills: Excellent cleaning, organizing, and laundry skills. Eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Trustworthiness: Must be discreet, respectful of privacy, and maintain confidentiality.
• Professionalism: Punctual, polite, well-groomed, and able to take direction while also working independently.
• Stamina: Physically fit with the energy to manage a large home and busy schedule.
• Communication: Basic spoken English (or as required by the family).

Salary
N130,000 – N150,000 / month.
