Job Title: Rigger Foreman
Responsibilities
Riggers Foreman:
- Supervise and coordinate rigging teams during lifting, loading, and offloading operations.
- Conduct pre-lift meetings and ensure the crew understands the scope, sequence, and safety precautions.
- Inspect rigging equipment and lifting gear to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Direct and guide crane operators and riggers using standard hand signals and communication protocols.
- Ensure that all rigging activities are carried out in accordance with HSE procedures and project specifications.
- Identify hazards and take corrective action to minimize risks on site.
- Maintain daily work reports and logbooks, documenting rigging activities and incidents.
- Ensure rigging gear is maintained, stored, and replaced as needed.
- Train and mentor junior riggers to improve team performance and safety awareness.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND / B.Eng qualification.
