Job Title: Logistics Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Logistics Officer to manage the efficient movement and storage of goods and materials.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery, managing inventory, and liaising with vendors, suppliers, and transport providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively
• Utilize logistics IT systems or databases to optimize procedures
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for management
• Maintain proper documentation of incoming and outgoing goods
• Liaise and negotiate with transport companies, suppliers, and customers
• Enforce health and safety procedures within logistics operations

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Solid knowledge of logistics procedures and systems
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., ERP) is an advantage
• Familiarity with the Lagos road network and traffic patterns is a plus.

Salary
N200,000 per month.
