Job Title: Pastry Chef

About the Role

• We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team in Ikate, Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience crafting high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Proximity to Ikate is a key requirement due to the nature of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts
• Innovate and develop new recipes and seasonal menu items
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items
• Monitor inventory and manage ingredient ordering efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space in compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to meet service demands
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff if needed.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / OND / Bachelor`s Degree
• 1 – 3 years of proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and decoration styles
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Excellent hygiene and food safety practices
• Must reside near or within easy commuting distance to Ikate, Lagos.

Salary
N120,000/month.
