Job Title: School Bus Driver

Job Summary

• As school bus driver you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, following designated routes and schedules.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Transport students safely to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being during the journey.
• Route Management: Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
• Student Management: Manage student behavior on the bus, enforcing safety rules and regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, bus mileage, and any incidents or delays.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students, addressing any concerns or issues.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Valid Driver’s License with the necessary endorsements with 3 – 5 years work experience. 
• Experience: Have previous experience as a bus driver, preferably with school children.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Commitment to Safety: Strong commitment to safety and traffic regulations.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle unexpected situations, such as vehicle malfunctions or student behavior issues.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including assisting students and performing vehicle checks.
• Must reside within Ayobo and its environs.
