Job Title: Cook

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations.
• Assist with inventory management and proper storage of food items.
• Follow food safety and health regulations strictly.
• Support the culinary team in catering for a variety of resort guests and special events.
• Demonstrate efficiency working in a busy kitchen while maintaining food quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree
• Proven experience (minimum of 15 years) as a Cook in hotels, resorts, or restaurants, preferably with exposure to African and international cuisines.
• Experienced in preparing different local foods (including Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Effik etc). Must have strong culinary skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of kitchen equipment and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Good team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic.
