Job Title: Service Manager – CNG
Job Summary
- The Service Manager – CNG will lead and manage all operations related to CNG vehicle conversions, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- This role will oversee projects end-to-end, build technical capacity within the team, and deliver value-added services to both B2B and B2C customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all CNG conversion projects and related maintenance services, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements for CNG systems.
- Manage and facilitate technician training on CNG installation, calibration, servicing, and troubleshooting.
- Liaise with suppliers for the procurement of CNG kits, tanks, and related components, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for CNG operations to reduce defects and improve service outcomes.
- Track and report on operational KPIs such as conversion timelines, defect rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue.
- Develop and market CNG service packages tailored for B2B and B2C customers.
- Educate customers on CNG system usage, safety protocols, benefits, and maintenance requirements.
Success Metrics
- Number of successful CNG conversions completed within set timelines
- Defect and rework rates on CNG projects
- Compliance rate with regulatory and safety standards
- Customer satisfaction scores for CNG services
- Revenue growth from CNG-related products and services
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in CNG service management or alternative fuel system operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of CNG conversion technologies, installation procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Proven experience in vendor management and customer relationship building.
- Technical certification in CNG systems or alternative fuels is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
