Job Title: Business Development Manager – Value Added Services (VAS)

Job Purpose

• To identify, acquire, and manage strategic partnerships that drive the growth of Value-Added Services (VAS).
• The role focuses on expanding the VAS portfolio, increasing revenue streams, and building long-term alliances with MNOs, content providers, and technology enablers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities in the VAS domain including mobile content, IVR services, SMS/USSD-based solutions, OTT bundling, and subscription models.
• Develop and maintain relationships with MNOs, content creators, app developers, and service delivery platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, technology, marketing) for seamless onboarding and execution of new services.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, including revenue-sharing models and SLAs with partners.
• Track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities for VAS deployment.
• Work with the product team to co-create and localize VAS offerings that resonate with target customer segments.
• Monitor service performance and revenue generation to ensure business targets are met.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Telecom, or related field.
• 5 – 8 years of experience in telecom, digital content, or VAS industry, with at least 3 years in business development or partnerships.

Preferred Skills:

• Proven Experience working with regional content and services.
• Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems and telco integrations.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to mobile.
