JOB TITLE: Production Shift Leader
JOB LOCATION: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
JOB DETAILS:
- Monitor production activities.
- Manage the shift and all production staff;
- Ensure the smooth running of the production process.
- Ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications.
- Ensure that Target and deadlines are met to achieve the orders.
- Ensure that all production staff comply with the company’s Health and Safety procedures
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
- Feed raw material or parts to machine.
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
- Carry out other duties as may be assigned by production manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or Production Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years cognate experience preferably in feeds manufacturing industries.
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills;
- Analytical and problem solving skill;
- Must be residing or willing to relocate to Ibadan, Oyo State.
