Job Title: Regional Medical Sales Manager – Pharmaceutical Products (West & North)

Job Overview
- We are looking for an experienced and energetic Regional Sales Manager to be a part of our Sales team.
- You should be able to lead and motivate the team members in achieving the sales targets. Besides, you should also be able to plan and implement effective sales strategies.
- You should be able to identify potential clients and discuss contract terms with them. Moreover, you should also be able to track the performance metrics. You should also be able to conduct sales forecasts and develop yearly sales goals.
- We expect you have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Where there are need for clinical presentations, we expect a persuasive delivery. Your ability to multitask and handle stressful situations will be advantageous. Furthermore, you should be creative and able to come up with innovative sales ideas.
Responsibilities
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and implementing effective sales strategies
- Coordinating with the sales team and guiding them in achieving sales targets.
- Presenting and negotiating contract terms with clients.
- Keeping a track on the performance metrics and suggesting improvements.
- Conducting sales forecasts and determining monthly and yearly sales goals.
- Performing in-depth research in identifying new market opportunities.
- Communicating with potential clients and converting them into sales leads.
- Addressing any client queries and complaints.
- Coordinating with the Marketing department in developing promotional materials.
- Staying up-to-date with the changes and developments in the Sales industry.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, other related medical field, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field.
- 5 – 7 years of experience as an Area/Regional Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager or a similar role in the Sales Department.
- Proven work experience as an Area/Regional Sales Manager.
- Experience managing a high performance sales team is mandatory.
- Familiarity with the trends and developments in the Pharmaceutical Sales industry.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.
- Excellent leadership and networking abilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Availability to travel as needed.
Remuneration
- Very attractive monthly salary, but negotiable.
- We will supplement the salary by bonuses or performance-related pay and you can achieve high earnings if you’re successful in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
