A Chemical Manufacturing Company based in Kaduna, Nigeria is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: DCS Engineer / Operator
Location: Kaduna
Role and Responsibilities
- DCS Control Operator operates controls and maintains a steady state of operation of process units under his control and related equipment in the most safe and efficient manner to meet required throughput.
- Maximize yield and meet required quality specifications.
- Handles all unit emergencies.
- Ensures the operations are in accordance with established procedures and instructions.
Requirements
- A Degree in Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or any relevant field of study.
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
- Moderate experience as DCS control room operator in chemical refinery.
