Job Title: Nutrition Officer

Location: Borno

Job Requirements

Relevant Degree in one of the following areas: Medicine, Health, and Nutrition.
Minimum of three (3) years relevant professional work experience, in implementation of health and nutrition
activities and 1 (one) year Background/familiarity with Emergency.)
Experience in maternal-infant and young nutrition with strong BFHI & BFCI approaches
Experience in nutrition survey and assessments
Understanding of humanitarian operations principles, standards, and best practices
Manages effectively his/her own time as well as flexible and available to work overtime when needed.
Good command of written and spoken English, Kanuri and Hausa Languages
Strong interpersonal and team building skills and excellence as a team player.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work extra hours and available at the weekend for emergency cases.
Capacity to work under pressure and willingness to work and live in a complex context.
Work within the framework of INTERSOS Nigeria’s core values.
Act as an ambassador for INTERSOS Nigeria, through professionalism and conduct.
Adhere to all INTERSOS policies and procedures both technical and administrational.
Maintain and care for all equipment issued by INTERSOS Nigeria and for any losses or damages due to negligence you will be liable for repair or replacement.
