Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Requirements

Provide excellent wait service to ensure customers’ satisfaction
Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
Sell and up-sell menu items to customers in order to maximize sales
Serve customers in an accommodating manner
Deliver food and beverages to any table as needed
Participate fully in preparation before service
Ensure all service equipment are clean
Make requisitions for service items e.g., take out bags, napkins, etc.
Check with the hostess for reservations
Ensure personal hygiene is always maintained
Clear and maintain table cleanliness
Administer change to tables when needed
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses
Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
Request feedback from the customers
Give report on all customers’ feedback to the Head Waiter
Follow health code standards with regards to the handling of food
Full participation in close of shift duties – cleaning of tables, rearranging Café etc
Assist in keeping the Café clean and safe
Report to duty on time and in proper uniform
Perform any other task as assigned.
