Job Title: Accountant

 About Taraba Advocacy and Rehabilitation: Taraba Advocacy and Rehabilitation (TARe) Foundation is an independent development and humanitarian non-profit organization established in 2003 committed to enhancing the quality of lives of the vulnerable population including women, children, and key populations (KP) in Nigeria. We provide locally driven solutions to advance better health, education, and other social services development outcomes.  TARe Foundation is registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or a related field
• 2 years experience as a project accountant, or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in managing general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• In-depth knowledge of best practices in accounting.
• Experience working in an NGO, especially in the area of HIV prevention, care, and treatment
• Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
