Qualifications, experience, skills and languages
Educational qualifications:
Essential:
Advanced degree in epidemiology or microbiology.
Experience:
- Proven experience in the field of surveillance of antimicrobial resistance, including integrated multisectoral AMR surveillance.
- Proven experience in networking and collaborating with international partners in support to LMIC.
- At least 7 years of international experience in the public health domain.
- At least 7 years of experience in low and/or middle-income countries (as per World Bank classification).
- Experience in developing technical reports and documents including in the field of AMR.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Proven analytical and data presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Languages required:
Essential:
Expert knowledge of English.
Desirable:
Knowledge of French, Spanish, or Russian.
Location
Home-based, off-site.
The consultant can be working from her or his home country, with the possibility of few travels during the contract period.
