Job Summary
- The Feed Mill Manager is responsible for reviewing production records, scheduling feed production, keeping inventory of feed ingredients and ordering as needed, testing and reviewing feed/grain quality,evaluating operating procedures, setting quality assurance standards, preparing and monitoring monthly, quarterly and yearly budgets, staying up-to-date on new technology and ways to make process improvements, and maintaining filling equipment and other equipment needed to perform duties.
Job Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in an Agriculture related industry.
- Must have between 3-5 years managerial experience in the Poultry feed
- production industry.
- Must have sound knowledge of production operations and managing processes.
- Ability to supervise technical operations of feed mill machines
- Must be detail oriented and well organized with a great ability to multitask
- Candidate should be proficient in computer knowledge generally
- Knowledge of environmental and biosecurity management
- Any other responsibilities or assignments given by the management.
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 / month.
