Job Requirements

• Student Support: Foster a positive and safe living environment for students, promoting their emotional, social, and academic growth.
• Supervision: Monitor student behavior, ensuring adherence to school rules, and maintaining discipline in collaboration with school administrators.
• Residential Life Management: Oversee daily routines and activities within the residential area, including wake-up and bedtime routines, meal times, study periods, and recreational activities.
• Emotional Support: Offer guidance and counsel to students, addressing personal or academic concerns, and acting as a trusted adult figure for students in need.
• Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts among students, promoting respectful communication and teaching conflict resolution skills.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with students’ families, school staff, and other house parents to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
• Safety and Security: Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures, ensuring students’ well-being and taking appropriate action in case of accidents, illnesses, or emergencies.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative duties such as maintaining student records, documenting incidents, and submitting reports as required by the school.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other house parents, teachers, and support staff to provide comprehensive care and support to students.
• Role Modeling: Demonstrate appropriate behavior, ethics, and values in interactions with students, serving as a positive role model.
