Job Requirements

• The person assigned as the Flight Safety Manager shall have some extensive operational management experience and established professional qualifications in aviation with knowledge and understanding of aviation accident prevention, safety auditing, and flight safety programs and standards, and safe flight operating practices.

The qualifications of the Safety Manager may be any or some of the following:

• A Degree or equivalent in Aviation;
• A commercial pilot or airline  transport
• A certificate  in safety management;
• A flight dispatcher license or flight operations officer authorization or military equivalent.
