Job Requirements

• You don’t need a Degree to be a master in this field, and we understand
• You must however be an excel communicator and have a sound working a portfolio that spans 6 years and above
• You love to read, research, assess ideas, and finished scripts
• You are a master of securing the finance for a new production
• You are a task rabbit that is best at commissioning writers, art directors and the entire production crew
• You are a powerful string – pulling together all the strands of creative and practical talent involved in the project to create a team
• You liaise and discuss projects with financial backers – projects can range from a small, corporate, events, commercial video costing thousand, to a multimillion-naira-budget Hollywood-standard feature film
• You control the production’s budget and allocate resources
• You organize shooting schedules – dependent on the type of producer role and availability of support staff
• You can hold regular meetings with directors to discuss characters and scenes and can act as a sounding board for the director
• You are deft at troubleshooting problems that arise during production
• Being compliance with relevant regulations, codes of practice and health and safety laws is your top priority
• You have a portfolio of works to show for your experience
• You are a great production supervisor – managing production from the start to finish, on time and within budget.
