We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Travels Assistant

Locations: Lagos and Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary


  • Receiving mission orders from staff online, check that these mission orders are fully signed and approved by the appropriate hierarchies.
  • This job makes PTS booking for all travelers whose mission order are fully validated.
  • Acts as liaison between company International Airline contractors and the company Logistics at all times.
  • Check that person requiring reservation on the flight are registered in PTS and if not, advise requester on procedure for personnel registration.
  • Ensure that all Mission Orders are properly filled up with correct information.
  • Check seat availability on flight requested and purchase international ticket in line with Company travel policy
  • Ensures that the appropriate priorities are respected in PTS.
  • Ensure flight is never over booked and a flight is locked and closed to all bookings 4:00pm everyday to enable accommodation locations to be assigned where it is required.
  • Liaises with GS Helpdesk and PTS in other locations for domestic flight confirmation/modification.
  • Acts as liaison between protocol and PTS for running and ending of domestic flight.
  • Upload/modify passenger’s names on the flight if possible.
  • Monitor all the last minute changes on our flights and advise passengers accordingly.
  • Notify passengers of their no-shows daily and remind them to notify PTS booking office of any cancelled trips.
  • Carries out any other duties/projects that may be assigned to him/her by the Hierarchy
  • Job entails working under pressure from travelers
  • Work requires making so many changes to travel itineraries of passengers sometimes at late hours.
  • Work sometimes involves working late into the night and during public holidays.
