Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant familiar with ERP Systems and Accounting software
• We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide strategic financial insights in a manufacturing setting.
• This role requires expertise in financial management, accounting software, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including cash and credit sales, assets, and liabilities.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts accurately.
• Ensure proper treatment of VAT, WHT, rent, and other statutory deductions in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate recordkeeping.
• Utilize accounting software/ERP systems for efficient financial management.
• Support financial audits and uphold internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to drive business strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• ICAN membership (student or qualified).
• Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Smart, proactive, and willing to relocate to Ibadan.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
