Job Title: SHE Centre Clerk

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- The Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the SHE Centre, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is dedicated to providing quality administrative support to help the centre achieve its mission of empowering and nurturing adolescents in the community.
- The Clerk will provide administrative and clerical support to the SHE Centre, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- The Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with data entry, coordinating schedules, and providing general office support to staff and clients.
Qualifications and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a community or youth-focused organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of youth development principles and practices is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulate results and recommendations of analysis to a variety of audiences within the organization (for example, laterally across peers, upwards to senior management).
- Strong written and verbal communications skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively with program staff and stakeholders across organizational boundaries
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to be able to accept and discharge substantial responsibilities, to prioritize work assignments, to meet deadlines, and to exercise professional judgment.
- Exhibits a positive and professional demeanor in and outside of the workplace that exemplifies and furthers the mission, vision and values of the program.
