Job Title: Travel Consultant
Job Summary
- You will be responsible for promoting and booking traveling arrangements for clients (individuals or businesses). The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.
Responsibilities
- Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions reviews.
- Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation.
- Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
- Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds.
- Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations.
Requirements and skills
- OND, HND / B.Sc in any related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience with a registered travel agency
- Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travelling.
- General knowledge about ticketing, hotel reservations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc)
- Must reside close to the job location
Salary
N80,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
