Job Title: Storekeeper

Job Summary

• Responsible for overseeing the administrative management of warehouse aggregation activities, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of commodities, ensuring daily control systems are implemented to manage inventory efficiently.   

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock movement and track the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.  
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming aggregated commodities according to the company’s standard operating procedures.  
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system records to prevent discrepancies.  
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all soybean seeds meet company quality standards during storage and handling.  
• Oversee storage conditions and ensure proper environmental controls to prevent damage, spoilage, or contamination of seeds and other commodities.  
• Maintain accurate labelling and identification of all inventory items for timely and precise dispatch.  
• Support the quality control team by providing timely updates on stock levels and any quality concerns.  
• Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all warehouse activities  
• Environmental regulations in all warehouse activities 

Requirements

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/ Trade test. 
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Warehouse operations. 

The Person Must: 

• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills  
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty in all tasks.  
• Exhibit strong teamwork and collaboration skills.  
• Have a solid understanding of warehouse operations and activities.  
• Demonstrate proficiency in numeric and computer skills.
