Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

Activities

  • Manage and supervise the housekeeping team, ensuring efficient daily operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure rooms and facilities are prepared for guest arrivals and special requests.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain housekeeping schedules and ensure shifts are properly staffed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Manager, or in a similar role within a hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Hospitality management certification or related education is a plus.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.
