Job Title: Data Back Up Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, administer, and maintenance of backup environment including Backup servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration and clients. 
• Perform standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases, and virtual machines.
• Ensure safe keeping, accurate recording and traceability of backup media.
• Proactive performance monitoring of the backup systems and infrastructures.
• Create backup and recovery policies, setting up and monitoring security policies. 
• Participate actively in business continuity and disaster recovery test planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related discipline. 
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science would be added advantage.

Experience, Attributes & Skills Required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Backup Administrator.
• Preferable work experience in IT Operations Center or Business Process Centers.
• Advanced knowledge Storage, and server areas.
