Job Title: Roll Change & Preparation Clerk

The Purpose

• To carry out cost-effective and efficient packaging, installation, and repairs of roller mills and associated machinery to ensure continuous operations.

The Job

• Prepare daily reports on roll activities and roller mill operations.
• Inspect machinery regularly to identify and resolve potential faults before they cause downtime.
• Eliminate air and material leakages to optimize mill performance.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Perform fabrication of parts required for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of roller mills to achieve targeted extraction efficiency.
• Execute all roll preparation tasks in a safe and hygienic manner.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sitting.
• NABTEB / Trade Test 1-3 would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. 

The Person Must:

• Have a good verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and hygiene practices.
