Job Description

• We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/Server to join our front-of-house team.
• The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.
• This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly and promptly.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up utensils, napkins, and condiments.
• Process payments and provide receipts as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• OND / BSc / HND in Hospitality Management, Catering, Sales or related field is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience in a waiter/server role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with a positive and proactive approach.
