Job Title: Refurbishment Supervisor

Job Summary

• The Refurbishment Supervisor oversees the refurbishment operations of coolers, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality refurbishing activities.
• The role is responsible for supervising refurbishment staff, maintaining equipment and tools, enforcing safety standards, and coordinating with other departments to meet production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Operations:

• Supervise daily activities in the cooler refurbishment workshop/facility.
• Assign tasks and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion of refurbishment schedules.
• Inspect refurbished coolers for quality, functionality, and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain and update refurbishment records and reports.

Process & Quality Control:

• Ensure adherence to refurbishment procedures and quality standards.
• Implement continuous improvements in refurbishment processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Identify defects or non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.

Team Leadership & Training:

• Lead, motivate, and coach the refurbishment team.
• Train staff on proper refurbishment techniques, tool handling, and safety practices.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for development.

Inventory & Tools Management:

• Oversee the inventory of tools, spares, and refurbishment materials.
• Request replenishment of materials as required to avoid production delays.
• Ensure proper maintenance and storage of refurbishment tools and equipment.

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce workplace safety regulations and use of PPE.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Report accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Coordinate with logistics, quality, and production planning teams.
• Communicate refurbishment schedules and priorities to relevant departments.
• Support management in planning, reporting, and problem-solving.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Diploma, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields.
• 3–5 years’ experience in cooler refurbishment, mechanical repairs, or production supervision.
• Proven leadership/supervisory experience in a manufacturing or refurbishment environment.
• Knowledge of refurbishment processes, tools, and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and refurbishment specifications.
• Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
