Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
About The People Practice: Our client, an IT company with interest in the financial, energy, education, telecom, and government sectors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and certification (ICAN, ACA) is a plus
- 5+ proven experience as an Accountant preferably in an Energy company.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
