Job Title: Navigation QC (CPS) Personnel

Location: Nigeria

Job Requirements

• Good knowledge of the IAGC and IOGP standards.
• Good knowledge of Geophysical operations.
• Good knowledge of towed streamer and OBN recording and positioning systems and procedures.
• Good knowledge of Geophysical equipment and systems used in streamer/OBS data acquisition:
  • Recording systems
  • Integrated Navigation Systems.
• Good knowledge of Geophysical Contractors’ organization.
• Proficiency in Streamer and OBS seismic data and navigation/positioning data QC.
• Proficiency in suitable Streamer and OBS seismic and navigation/positioning QC and reporting software:
  • Reporting software for production follow-up and provision of regular reporting (Daily, weekly….)
  • Database application for seismic and positioning/navigation attributes management.
  • Software for Navigation Data QC and final processing used by Seismic Contractors:
    • e.g., Sprint, Spectra, Orca, Reflex, etc.
• QC and validation of final navigation deliverables (Px/II and SPS files) SEGY data viewer software.
• Good knowledge of audit techniques.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
