Job Title: Technician – Sensor & Electro-opticals

Job Summary

• The Sensors and Electro-Opticals Unit in UAV production is responsible for the integration, testing, calibration, and maintenance of the sensors and electro-optical systems that enable the UAV to gather data and perform specialized functions such as imaging, navigation, and environmental monitoring.
• These systems include cameras, infraredsensors, LiDAR, and other imaging or detection technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate sensor and electro-optical systems with precision.
• Calibrate sensors and optical devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct functional and performance tests on electrooptical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in sensor and optical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sensors and optical equipment.
• Maintain records of calibrations, test, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations for handling sensitive equipment.
• Work with engineering teams to refine sensor designs and ensure integration success.
• Identify and implement improvements in testing and calibration procedures.
• Develop or handle advanced electro-optical systems for specific applications like UAVs or imaging.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience.
