Job Title: Blending Officer
Purpose of the Job
- To oversee high-quality fertilizer blending process, and operations with the precise ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients.
- Providing effective solutions to farmers and maintaining consistency across the company standards, in alignment with established objectives.
The Job
- Monitor blending processes to maintain the correct formulation and quality of fertilizer products that meet farmers.
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards for increased yields.
- Investigate and resolve any quality issues that arise during the blending process.
- Implement process improvement method to enhance production output.
- Coordinate with the Dispatch/Supply Chain department to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Monitor raw material, finished goods and packaging material inventories.
- Lead and supervise a team of blending operators, providing guidance and support.
- Prepare and maintain production reports.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Dispatch & Logistics, Commercial, Finance, and outstation plants, to ensure seamless production operations.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Agriculture or any other related course.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
The Person Must:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Have the willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
