Job Title: Security Guard

Roles and responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity.
• Respond to incidents like theft, vandalism, or trespassing.
• Assist in detaining suspects until law enforcement arrives.
• Write detailed reports about security incidents or breaches.
• Respond to fire alarms, medical emergencies, or hazardous situations.
• Evacuate people safely in case of a fire or other threats.
• Guide visitors and employees, answering questions or giving directions.
• Escort employees or VIPs for added protection when needed.
• Maintain logs of daily activities, visitor entries, and security incidents.
• Report security breaches, unusual behavior, or unsafe conditions to supervisors.

Basic Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in security or law enforcement.
• Experience handling access control and visitor management.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or 28 in some cases).
• Physically fit and in good health.
• No criminal record (background check required)
• Knowledge of basic self-defense techniques.
• Strong observational skills.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to security threats.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
