Job Title: Marketing and Sales Manager
Job Description
- The Marketing and Sales Manageris responsible for driving revenue growth and market penetration for the organization’s nutraceutical products through a combination of direct sales, client relationship management, and strategic marketing, with a focus ondigital campaigns.
- The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of marketing experience with proven evidence of digital marketing competence, a solid understanding of the nutraceuticals or wellness sector, and a passion for building customer trust and loyalty through targeted communication and effective promotion.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow customer base and revenue for nutraceutical products.
- Identify and pursue leads across pharmacies, wellness centers, health stores, and retail distributors.
Marketing and Brand Awareness:
- Manage digital and offline marketing campaigns to promote product benefits and brand positioning.
- Design and distribute promotional materials tailored to health-conscious consumers.
Lead Generation and Customer Conversion:
- Use email campaigns, SEO, content marketing, and direct outreach to generate and convert qualified leads.
- Follow up with potential clients and nurture them through the buying process.
Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
- Execute and monitor digital marketing initiatives including Meta ads, Google Ads, Instagram campaigns, and email automation.
- Manage the company’s social media platforms and website for audience engagement and visibility.
Market Research and Customer Insight:
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to guide marketing and product strategies.
- Collaborate with product development or R&D teams to align messaging with health and wellness trends.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Maintain ongoing communication with key accounts, retailers, and health professionals.
- Provide after-sales support, collect feedback, and identify upselling opportunities.
Requirements
- HND or B.Scin Marketing, Business Administration, Nutrition, Public Health, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, including proven digital marketing execution.
- Prior experience in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, health & wellness, or FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
Skills:
Digital Marketing Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with tools like Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Canva, and analytics dashboards.
- Ability to set up, monitor, and optimize online campaigns.
Content Development and Product Marketing:
- Ability to create compelling content that communicates health benefits and product differentiation.
- Strong understanding of health claims compliance and consumer engagement.
Customer Relationship and Communication:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client relationship management and follow-up ability.
Data Analysis and Strategic Insight:
- Competence in interpreting campaign results, sales reports, and market feedback.
- Ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
Organization and Execution:
- Ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and results oriented.
