Job Title: Investment Accountant

About the Role

• The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in accounting within the capital markets, investment, or financial services sector, with a strong understanding of portfolio management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile financial records related to investment portfolios.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, performance summaries, and budgets.
• Monitor capital market activities and reflect them in accounting statements.
• Handle bookkeeping, investment transactions, and portfolio reconciliations.
• Support internal controls, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with investment and finance teams to align accounting data with strategic objectives.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ICAN/ACCA certification is an advantage.
• Strong experience in capital markets, investment accounting, or asset management.
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
