Job Title: Metallurgical and Material Engineer, Graduate Trainee
Activities
- Gather and analyze data from tests experiments to support material development and process improvement.
- Prepare all required documents and ensure accuracy of all data.
- Co-ordinate with team, perform troubleshoot on process according to requirement.
- Support the process engineer to manage and interpret bench-scale laboratory experiments aimed at understanding the mineral dressing characteristics of ores of rare metals, including rare earths.
- Work alongside production, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure material specifications align with project goals.
- Provide technical support to all projects, perform root cause analysis, and assist to reduce defects.
- Monitor all processes, resolve all issues and coordinate with management and external parties to reduce downtime.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks in handling material equipments.
Candidate Profile
- HND/BSc in Mechanical Engineering,Production Engineering, Metallurgical and Material Engineering, other Science, and Engineering related field.
- Fresh graduate or minimum of 1 year experience in Steel Manufacturing Industry.
- Living within Kaduna or close proximity is an added advantage.
- Must be available to resume immediately.
